Update from Alpha Flight Simulation

In September 2026, the hangar where Alpha had leased space for 13 years at Spirit of St Louis was sold and we had to move.   

We were grateful to find a new home for the Redbird MCX at Creve Coeur Airport with Wings Industry Network when owner John Tiepen offered to purchase the MCX. The simulator was disassembled and moved to Hangar N-7 at Creve Coeur Airport and re-assembled and overhauled by a team of Redbird Company technical specialists.

During that time, significant upgrades were ordered, including all new, larger high-def surround screens and a new CPU computer running Redbird’s latest software and the pre-existing content library including Alpha IFR Currency Scenarios.

What’s changed?

• The Redbird can now be accessed using the scheduling app www.flightcircle.com. The schedule will be shared by Wings Industry Network and Gateway Flight Solutions. The Alpha Flight Simulation account with Flight Schedule Pro will no longer be active after 6/30/2027.   Until then it will be monitored by Alpha Flight Sim and any IFR Currency flight requests via Flight Schedule Pro will be passed along for merging with Flight Circle.
  
• The MCX simulator rental rate is now $120/hour, which can be paid to Wings Industry Network by credit card or check after each sim session.
